Motorino d’avviamento 12V a marchio Vetus, per i motori diesel marini M4.15 e M4.17 (compatibilità confermata dal produttore); diversi rivenditori indipendenti indicano inoltre la compatibilità con M4.35, M4.45, M4.55 e M4.56, pur non risultando questa estensione confermata sulla documentazione ufficiale Vetus consultata. Il motorino, con innesto automatico a bendix e pignone a 13 denti a rotazione oraria, converte l’energia elettrica della batteria in rotazione meccanica per l’avviamento del motore diesel. Va sostituito in caso di mancato avviamento con click ripetuti del relè, rotazione debole o assente del motorino, o rumori anomali (pignone che non si disinnesta) durante l’avviamento.
