Manicotto (soffietto) in gomma di ricambio per tenute meccaniche PSS, compatibile con assi da 2″3/4 (70mm), 75mm e 3″ (80mm), da abbinare ad astuccio da 4″1/4 (108mm). Fa parte della serie 07-5 con statore in versione grafite a partire da questo astuccio da 4″1/4. Il manicotto in gomma nitrilica rinforzata assorbe vibrazioni e piccoli disallineamenti tra asse e astuccio ed è il componente più soggetto a usura nel tempo: la sua sostituzione periodica è la manutenzione preventiva più importante per le tenute PSS.
Replacement rubber bellows for PSS mechanical shaft seals, compatible with 2-3/4″ (70mm), 75mm and 3″ (80mm) shafts, to be paired with a 4-1/4″ (108mm) stern tube. Part of the 07-5 series, with a graphite stator version starting from this 4-1/4″ stern tube size. The reinforced nitrile rubber bellows absorbs vibration and minor misalignment between shaft and stern tube, and is the component most subject to wear over time: its periodic replacement is the single most important preventive maintenance step for PSS seals.
