Guarnizione per il coperchio punterie (bilancieri) a marchio Vetus, indicata per i motori diesel marini delle serie M2, M3 e M4. La guarnizione assicura la tenuta stagna tra il coperchio punterie e la testata, evitando trafilamenti di olio motore nella zona superiore del propulsore. Realizzata in materiale composito resistente al calore e agli idrocarburi, va sostituita ogni volta che il coperchio punterie viene rimosso per interventi di manutenzione o regolazione valvole. Componente economico ma importante per la tenuta e la pulizia del vano motore.
Vetus rocker (tappet) cover gasket, indicated for the M2, M3 and M4 series marine diesel engines. The gasket seals the joint between the rocker cover and the cylinder head, preventing engine oil leaks from the top of the engine. Made of a heat- and hydrocarbon-resistant composite material, it should be renewed whenever the rocker cover is removed for maintenance or valve adjustment. An inexpensive but important component for engine bay tightness and cleanliness.
