O-ring di tenuta 61×2,5 mm a marchio Vetus, per lo scambiatore di calore dei motori diesel marini M2.02, M2.04, M2.06, M2.C5, M2.D5 e M3.09. L’anello garantisce la tenuta stagna tra le due sezioni dello scambiatore, impedendo il mescolamento tra il circuito di acqua dolce (refrigerante motore) e quello di acqua di mare durante lo scambio termico. Realizzato in gomma elastomerica resistente al calore, agli idrocarburi e all’acqua salata, va sostituito ogni volta che lo scambiatore viene aperto per pulizia o manutenzione, per evitare perdite e infiltrazioni. Ricambio economico ma importante per il corretto raffreddamento del motore.

Vetus 61×2.5 mm sealing o-ring, for the heat exchanger of the M2.02, M2.04, M2.06, M2.C5, M2.D5 and M3.09 marine diesel engines. The ring provides a leak-tight seal between the two sections of the heat exchanger, preventing the fresh water (engine coolant) circuit from mixing with the raw sea water circuit during heat exchange. Made of elastomeric rubber resistant to heat, hydrocarbons and salt water, it should be replaced every time the heat exchanger is opened for cleaning or maintenance, to avoid leaks. An inexpensive but important part for correct engine cooling.
