Descrizione
O-ring di tenuta per il fascio tubiero (tube stack) dello scambiatore di calore a marchio Vetus, dedicato ai motori diesel marini M3.10 e M4.14. L’anello assicura la tenuta stagna tra il fascio tubiero e la scatola dello scambiatore, impedendo il trafilamento di acqua di mare nel circuito di acqua dolce durante lo scambio termico. Realizzato in gomma elastomerica resistente al calore e all’acqua salata, va sempre sostituito quando lo scambiatore viene aperto per la pulizia periodica dei tubi dai depositi calcarei. Ricambio economico ma essenziale per un raffreddamento motore efficiente e privo di perdite.
Vetus sealing o-ring for the heat exchanger tube stack, dedicated to the M3.10 and M4.14 marine diesel engines. The ring provides a leak-tight seal between the tube stack and the heat exchanger housing, preventing raw sea water from leaking into the fresh water circuit during heat exchange. Made of elastomeric rubber resistant to heat and salt water, it should always be replaced whenever the heat exchanger is opened for periodic descaling of the tubes. An inexpensive but essential part for efficient, leak-free engine cooling.
