Tenditore per la cinghia di distribuzione (albero a camme) a marchio Vetus, per i motori diesel marini VH4.65 e VH4.80 (motori Hyundai a marchio Vetus, serie gialla). Il tenditore mantiene la corretta tensione della cinghia dentata di distribuzione durante il funzionamento del motore, garantendo la sincronizzazione tra albero a camme e albero motore e prevenendo slittamenti o rotture premature della cinghia. Fa parte del kit completo di sostituzione della distribuzione Vetus, insieme alla cinghia di distribuzione (STM4862), alla cinghia dell’albero equilibratore (STM4852) e al relativo tenditore (STM4858): si raccomanda di sostituire tutti questi componenti contestualmente, secondo gli intervalli di manutenzione previsti da Vetus. Componente meccanico soggetto a usura del cuscinetto interno, da ispezionare o sostituire a ogni intervento sulla distribuzione.

Vetus tensioner for the camshaft timing belt, for the VH4.65 and VH4.80 marine diesel engines (Hyundai-based Vetus yellow-series engines). The tensioner maintains correct tension on the toothed timing belt during engine operation, ensuring synchronisation between the camshaft and crankshaft and preventing belt slippage or premature failure. It is part of the complete Vetus timing drive replacement kit, together with the timing belt (STM4862), the balancer shaft belt (STM4852) and its tensioner (STM4858): it is recommended to replace all of these components together, according to the maintenance intervals set out by Vetus. A mechanical component subject to wear of its internal bearing, to be inspected or replaced whenever the timing drive is serviced.
