Tenuta meccanica ad asse rotante PSS per assi elica da 1″1/4 (31,75mm) con astuccio da 2″1/2-2″5/8 (63,5-66,7mm), sistema di tenuta a secco (dripless) prodotto da PYI Inc. (USA). Il rotore in acciaio inossidabile 316L lappato di precisione scorre a contatto con lo statore in carbonio-grafite autolubrificante, garantendo tenuta stagna senza gocciolamento continuo e senza regolazioni periodiche. Il soffietto in gomma nitrilica rinforzata assorbe vibrazioni e disallineamenti, mentre due fascette inox bloccano il manicotto sull’astuccio.
PSS mechanical dripless shaft seal for 1-1/4″ (31.75mm) propeller shafts with a 2-1/2″ to 2-5/8″ (63.5-66.7mm) stern tube, manufactured by PYI Inc. (USA). The precision-lapped 316L stainless steel rotor runs against a self-lubricating carbon-graphite stator, providing a watertight seal with no continuous dripping and no periodic adjustment. The reinforced nitrile rubber bellows absorbs shaft vibration and misalignment, while two stainless steel clamps secure the bellows to the stern tube.
