Descrizione

Cinghia dentata di distribuzione a marchio Vetus per l’albero a camme dei motori diesel marini VH4.65 e VH4.80 (motori Hyundai a marchio Vetus, serie gialla). La cinghia sincronizza la rotazione dell’albero a camme con l’albero motore, garantendo la corretta apertura e chiusura delle valvole nei tempi previsti dal ciclo del motore. Diversa dalla cinghia dell’albero equilibratore (STM4852), questa cinghia è dedicata specificamente alla distribuzione e va sostituita secondo gli intervalli di manutenzione previsti da Vetus, per evitare la rottura improvvisa con conseguente grave danno al motore. Realizzata in gomma sintetica rinforzata con fibre e dentatura di precisione.

Vetus toothed timing belt for the camshaft of the VH4.65 and VH4.80 marine diesel engines (Hyundai-based Vetus yellow-series engines). The belt synchronises the rotation of the camshaft with the crankshaft, ensuring correct valve opening and closing at the times required by the engine cycle. Different from the balancer shaft belt (STM4852), this belt is specifically dedicated to the timing drive and should be replaced according to the maintenance intervals set out by Vetus, to avoid sudden failure and the resulting serious engine damage. Made of fibre-reinforced synthetic rubber with precision teeth.
